This is a very good store and seems to have a good assortment of items. Their on line shopping is set up with many companies to cover most items you would want. Many items from these companies ship free.
I think Walmart is great. One-Stop shopping that's what I like. They even have big clothes LOL I'm a big guy
It's not bad selection-wise.. Its not a terrible little Walmart, seems to get a lot of business. Their women's department is definitely different from what I've seen in other stores, but it seems organized at least. The isles seem clean and well taken care of, a lot of the employees seem to be around my age. One of the bigger employers in the area considering there's not a whole lot in Norwich. It's a 24 hour, but like most Walmart they lock up half of their store doors for security reasons. I usually get out of work by about midnight and do my shopping then. Parking lot could be a little better lit at night, or at least when I'm there at like 1 am.... But past that, it's about what you'd expect from a Walmart.
This is a solid location. Good sized store, but not overwhelmingly large. I find the layout easy to navigate. They have a fairly large self checkout section at this location which is also a plus for me. It's on route 12 just outside of town, which is convenient for me as I travel back and forth between Norwich and Binghamton on a regular basis.
My fiance called from North Dakota to find out if Walmart still stocked air conditioners being that it is the end of September we weren't sure so when he called he spoke with a customer service representative or someone in appliances which then said no they didn't have any left too late in the season so he then called Lowe's who did have air conditioners so he proceeded to buy one online so I could run down and pick it up after loading up in the car we drove across the street to Walmart and lo and behold as soon as the doors opened was a 4 tier display of guess what..........? Air conditioners. So it makes one wonder what else that they have told people they don't have when actually they do I guess I can just be thankful that I didn't have to drive half hour 45 minutes to find an air conditioner only to find out when was right here in town.
